Appreciation for Panchmukhi by "Naushab Sahab"

The Bhajan “Panchmukhi” is a great contribution to the Indian classical music is a legendary composition by Mr. Akashraj ji. This splendid historical bhajan sung by Master Padma Vibhushan Ustad Ghulam Mustafa Khan Sahab and added a feather to the cap. 

After listening to this bhajan “Panchmukhi” The Great Maestro Naushad Sahab himself called Mr. Akashraj ji to his historical bungalow “Ashiana” at Carter Road.  This Bhajan gained the Golden words by The Great Naushad Sahab, who himself was a great history of music.  

“Akashji aapne yeh bahut hi nayaab heera {Precious Gem Diamond} daal diya hai “Sangeet” ke khazane mein, Bahut hi lajawaab composition hai  yeh 8 raagon mein.  Aaj kal ke Mausikaaron {sangeetkaaron} ko itna ilm {Knowledge} hi nahi hota hai, kyunki zyaadatar sab western music, item song ke peechhe bhaagte hain. Hame is baat ki behad khushi hai ki tumne aaj kal ke zamaane mein bhi classical music mein umda {Excellent} kaam kiya hai.”

Listening to this bhajan is a great treat to ears.  This bhajan “Panchmukhi” is a Yearn in Western Countries.

Bramha Nad & Shabd Nad {Words we utter or pronounce} originated from Lord Shiva’s Damru  & all Taals originated from Bramha Nad.   The entire music, Ragas, Raginis, originated From Lord Shiva’s five mukhmandals & 1 raga from Mata Parwati.

Origin of Classical Ragas

The Bhajan named “Panchmukhi” is a very unique composition by very versatile composer Mr. Akashraj. This bhajan is a very hard Research work of Akashraj in Indian music history, of film or non film music. As per the research, the music originates from the 5 mukhmandalas of lord Shiva facing the five directions of this universe. It describes that from each face of lord shiva, 5 principle raga appears.

History of Indian Classical Music
